SEBAB SAYE BENCI RAISIN!!! benci sangat!! ciss... and my father keeping forcing me to use raisin yang berlambak dekat dapur tu. huh, biar dia tau, anak-anak dia ni tak makan raisin. raisin tak sedap la!
ok, berbalik kepada pembuatan ape-kebende-namenye kuih ni. sangat senang, simple, neat dan sekejap je. hasilnya sangat rangup. sedap, tapi adik kesayangan saye cakap tak sedap.
ciss sungguh, dia klasik sikit, tak makan bende-bende camni. dia makan budu je. budu. ntah pape, dia sorang je makan budu kat rumah ni. sengal. hahaha.
resipi nya: (credit to margeth)
first,u need a thin layer pastry,or a spring roll pastry.u can get in any store near u.
then,u need a packet of almond,and raisin

*in rachel allen shows,she was using almond and pistachio.i did buy it,but i ate the pistachio,coz
it was so addicted.*
for the almond,crush the almond to tiny pieces.please.use a blender,u can use your sock and shoes too.
then,u need a melted butter,or oil,or majerin.anything oily,fattening and high in calories can do.
HOW TO DO IT?
layer the pastry on th pan.make sure u grease ur pan. make every layer about 4-5 layer of pastry.
*may i remind u,the pasrty is very thin,do be careful not to rip it off hardly*
after 4-5 layer of pastry,sprinkle the crush almonds and raisin on the pastry.
then,layer it again. do the same thing about 3-4 layer of almond and raisin.
then,cut into square shape or diamond,or butterfly,heart,whatever,but must i remind u,if u using spring roll pastry,its hard to cut it.u must use a very sharp knife or ur almonds will goes out and it will get messy.
then.bake in the oven at 180 C for about 20 minute.
after 20 minute...
*u have to check ur pastry.because it might get burn.it is very thin layer btw.*
FOR THE SYRUP.
did i forget to mention about the syrup that u have to pour on the pastry? i did?? NO WAY!
so,to do the syrup
u need
a water of course
a boiling pan
a cup of sugar.if u a diabetes patient,please leave this page

its a cinnamon stick
pour everything into the boiling pan,make sure boil and getting thick and pour some lemon juice.
in my case,im out of the lemon.so im using the lime :)
after ur pastry is golden bake,
pour the syrup on the pastry and leave it for a while.let the pastry soak up with the syrup.
then...
